Cassandra DeCharne

Cassandra hails from the city of Katapesh, bazaar of wonders…where anything can be bought or sold. She appears to be approximately 20 years old, with auburn hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. She seems somewhat otherworldly, for some reason unknown to you. She lived a privileged childhood in Katapesh as the child of two wealthy merchants. Her magical talent appeared early, and her parents spared no expense in her education.

As she grew older, she came to realize that the merchandise her parents dealt in was of the human type. Not unexpected in Katapesh, the center of the slave trade in the Inner Sea region. Having seen slaves mistreated throughout the city all of her life, this didn’t not sit well with Cassandra. She tried to convince her parents to concentrate on other ventures to make their money, but to no avail.

As a teenager, she told her parents that she despised slavery of all types, and could no longer be associated with them as long as they choose this way of life. At the age of 15, Cassandra left her parents, and began to wander the world. If currently asked, she is very reluctant to speak of her parents, and becomes rather sad. During her travels, she continued with her magical education as opportunities presented themselves. She eventually joined the Arcanamirium. She has a complete hatred of slavery in any form. She seems to miss her homeland, but is unwilling to live there. She thinks the Pactmasters are evil, and wishes the country would rebel against them. She may or may not have an addiction to Pesh, the drug manufactured in her old country. She is infatuated with genies, for some reason…although she will deny it and tell you that genies are a child’s myth.
